Der Wachsmann-Preis der Akademie für Fort- und Weiterbildung in der Radiologie wurde erstmals 2001 verliehen. Mit ihm werden jährlich fünf Referenten ausgezeichnet, die über mehrere Jahre hin erfolgreich am radiologischen Fortbildungsprogramm der Akademie mitgearbeitet haben und in mindestens sechs Veranstaltungen von den Teilnehmern mit höchsten Punktzahlen für ausgezeichnete Lehre bewertet wurden.
Mit dem Preis ehrt die Deutsche Röntgengesellschaft das Andenken des Stifters Prof. Dr. med. Felix Wachsmann und betont zugleich die Bedeutung der kontinuierlichen Fortbildung innerhalb der bildgebenden Medizin.
Den Eugenie-und-Felix-Wachsmann-Preis nimmt Prof. Martin Mack im Rahmen des 95. Deutschen Röntgenkongresses entgegen, der vom 28. bis 31. Mai 2014 in Hamburg stattfindet.
